# Departments
Sprout has a department module with availability for privilege settings by menu. Where, the same user can be part of different departments.
# Security Module
It is possible to define the level of privileges by associating the menus that the department will have access to.
This feature is available in the department edition, through the Define Department Privileges button:
On the next screen only the associated menus in the left column will be listed, as well as the pages that the department can access.
You can change any of the actions that users belonging to this department will be entitled to perform.
WARNING
In applications related to users and departments, you will notice the message Administrators only appear on the Delete action.
Only administrators can delete users and departments. Also, there must be at least one active administrator for the Delete button to be visible.
